Alexandre Bacco

I am an enthusiastic engineer with four years of international work experience, graduated from a top French engineering school, the Ecole Centrale. I am curious, fast-learner and entrepreneur. My aim is to have responsibilities in smart city projects involving technological challenges.

In 2012, I worked on a 1.5 M€ smart city project in Nice, France. I have been in charge of deploying, tuning and testing an innovative solution for intelligent car parking, which involved coping with a lot of technological issues in short delays. The project is now a success, helping thousands of drivers every day.

In 2013, I have co-founded Caissin, a startup selling long-lasting wines as a unique gift to celebrate lifetime events. As the CTO, my role is to make technology drive business and ideas. I am in charge of building and maintaining all technical topics around our e-commerce website, and managing our digital presence. I am also in the process of setting up a local branch to lead our future Asian activities.

Finally, in 2015, after two years in Singapore as a Project Engineer in an IT company, I have started my own business as a freelance consultant. I am dedicated to convey my knowledge in smart cities, my main mission being for SMRT buses.

I am currently looking for new full-time challenges in the thrilling Singaporean smart city business.
